The AL-IIIPlus will likely change your assumptions about what a high-performance loudspeaker system can and should be. This is not merely another reworking of the time-worn, cone-and-dome design. Instead, virutally all music is reproduced by a single, 48-inch, full range ribbon driver. Only the lowest bass octaves are handled by the downward-firing woofer. This eliminates crossover distortions, phase anomalies, and box colorations inherent in most conventional designs. And, because the AL-IIIPlus is a dipolar transducer, with sound radiating to front and rear, the overal effect is astonishingly realistic. Listen to the AL-IIIPlus, and you will experience transparency, imaging, vivid detail, and a sense of depth and spaciousness never before encountered outside the concert hall.
