Measurement Instruments

First version!

Introdution

Here I want give you all the information to make and find the rigth measurement instruments.

PC Based Oscilloscope

Soundblaster PCI 128
This is a cheap choice and the sample rates is limited but there are many good free software to use it (FFT included)
  • Frequency response 30hz to 15khz = +0.55 / -1.88db
  • 1 khz Total Harmonic Distortion .00685% @ -.21db
  • Signal To noise Ratio 79.36db
  • Dymanic Range 81.86db
  • sample rates 48kHz
  • resolution 16bit

    AC voltmeter

    Distortion meter

In these last years this type of circuits are no more used because who make this measurement want also to see the armonic decay and this is possible only with an FFT analisys.
