DECOUPAGE

It's been born from the custom of adorn objects sticking cuttings of paper... but can be use also materials unusual....as photo...flowers buckets... and so get creations absolutely  original. There aren't limits.....it can be realize on every material...glass, plastic, metal, cardboard, stones, cloth ... however the most important element remains the creativity.

MATERIAL:
Ceramic or terracotta lamp/ acrylic color  ivory and brilliant green deep / flat brushes / little sponge adhesive ribbon of paper / decoupage paper / water based craquelé varnish for decupage with one component
1. You stretch the acrylic color ivory in uniform way on the whole surface. Let it dry well.
 2.With the ribbon of paper delimited a band in the high part of the lamp.

 3. You distribute the craquelé varnish in this space proceed with the brush just in one direction, let it dry.

 7. you can now perform the pictorial desired for valorizing the object according to your taste.
 6.  You make the same thing for the lampshade and you allow to dry completely.
 5.  Now you glue the select figure but not cover completely the chapped band because the paper, even though thin, doesn't make appears through the cracks.
 4. You prepare the second color (brilliant green deep) and distribute it on the whole band. NEVER PAINT the color 2 times on the same point because the crack has an immediate effect and so you cancel the effect.
